| Good & Natural 100% Tea Tree Oil - $8.99 at Amazon.com |
Today though I though I would share one of my favorite sprays I make with tea tree oil. Here is what you will need.
(1) 2 oz. Spray Bottle
(1) Bottle of Tea Tree Oil
(1) Bottle of Purified or Distilled Drinking Water
Take your spray bottle. I prefer these brown glass ones from Amazon.com. I buy in bulk because these are nice bottles just to have for other things around the house as well as to give as gifts.
Pour your purified or distilled drinking water into the bottle to where it reaches the top part where the bottle begins to taper up. Seriously also just buy a bottle of drinking water. The reason for this is that you don't want any contaminates in this spray like chlorine and such that could be in the tap.
Put in about 5 to 10 drops of your favorite tea tree oil. When I make this for other people I use 5, however for myself I use 10.
Put the cap on your spray bottle. Shake. Voila... you have a mist that you can use for a multitude of things. What things? Try these...
1. Spray on make up brushes as a anti-bacterial spray.
2. Spray on anything for that matter as an anti-bacterial spray.
3. Use as a deodorant during yoga. I don't like deodorants when doing, this is perfect and natural.
4. Use as a refreshing facial spray throughout the day.
5. Use as a feminine spray to freshen up. Be careful if you used a higher amount of tea tree oil. It is more cooling than stinging, but you have been warned.
So there you go. Just a few uses of this miraculous oil.
Now for my disclaimer... I am not a medical professional. Everyone has certain tolerances, allergies and the like. Our skin types are even different. Take this into account before putting anything on your body. If you are not sure... talk to your doctor. This is a concoction that I have used time and again and it works for me. Based on things I've seen online, a lot of other people as well, but you never know how products are going to react with each individual so try this at your own risk.
So what did you think?
Did you like Tea Tree Tuesday?
If so... leave it all in the comments.
Also if ya'll love it please tell all of your friends and follow her on the following sites. If you don't... tell your enemies and just sit back and laugh at how they were sent to my ramblings. And remember... if you don't look good, then Ms. Faux be lookin' like a damn fool.
