Back to Mama Ru. I do love her and she will always be the most fabulous. But for now I will stop the love fest and let you know about the Fabulous Five Products that kept Ms. Faux lookin' fierce... or at least not like a monster.
First of all there is not a lot of make up in this because Ms. Faux has been using a lot of stuff she has featured recently so instead of re-mentioning - I'm going to list them as honorable mentions at the end and give a good ol' link back to their mention in an earlier blog. I figured this would allow me to feature more items.
1. Cafe Bustelo K Cups - Espresso Style - $12.39 (+$3.99 S+H) at Amazon.com
![]() |
| These are also available at your local Jewel if you are in Chicago |
What is it? Well based on the info I pulled from multiple sources online....
It is a delicious cuban style espresso roast made from the most delicious of Columbian beans. The cafebustelo.com website states...
Get a perfectly brewed cafecito in less than one minute! With new CafĂ© Bustelo K-Cup Pods, you can enjoy the bold flavor of our Espresso Style blend, or venture into new territory with our medium roast 100% Colombian coffee. Just place the K-Cup in your Keurig® Brewer and enjoy the rich, full-bodied flavor that stands up to milk and sugar like no other!
What does Ms. Faux think?
First yes I know it is not cosmetics, however this is a thing that kept Ms Faux from lookin' a fright I tell ya. First this is my new favorite K Cup. I think right now I even like it more than my Nepresso. "SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" I will not. It reminds me of European coffee. I love it so much.
Like it says it stands up to milk and sugar. It is simply the deepest and most delicious roast. Remember y'all. I also just went to Italy not too long ago so I'm singing a mighty praise right now.

Oooooooh chile. This is the time of year that Ms. Faux runs around like a maniac and right back into bed. You all know how hard it is to take off that make up once you have hit those sheets. This stuff is like magic in a bottle.
It removes make up flawlessly including eye make up and is gentle enough to use every day and in the sensitive eye area.
Now... Ms. Faux has extremely sensitive eye lids and this stuff goes on without a problem. Seriously I do believe they have bottled magic.
Leave some cotton pads and a bottle of Bioderma next to your bed and seriously there is no reason for you not to take of your make up daily.

What does Ms. Faux think?
Tis that time of year when the air dries out and Ms. Faux sinuses take on a bleeding. Not only that, but the air is not to kind on my skin either. This little beauty packs a punch. Also... it is a essential oil diffuser so why not enjoy a scent while helping your skin. Seriously it diffuses oil beautifully.
Seriously this thing is amazing and works as well as most other humidifiers twice its size. I will not be without it.
5. Nature's Truth Calming/Relaxing Aromatherapy Oil - $6.39 at Amazon.com
What is it? According to Amazon.com and the Nature's Truth website...
Features a botanical blend of pure, soothing oils to calm the senses. Sublimely serene and comforting. Floral, sweet and citrusy, with notes of herbal spices in scent. Ideal for deep meditation and relaxation.
What does Ms. Faux think?
Ooooooooh honey Ms. Faux's last nerve is being worked this season and this oil is exactly what it say... CALMING. It is a delicious, complex citrus scent with a bit a spice. It actually reminds Ms. Faux of the scent of one of her favorite southern teas that she makes. For that recipe, click HERE.
I mean... this is just delicious and managed to dethrone Ms. Faux's dreamy geranium oil for once this season. So far the only oil that has been able to do that. Don't worry Geranium... I will be back.
So there they are. The top 5 products that have kept Ms. Faux from looking a fright. Also as promised here are some Honorable Mentions.
Honorable mentions:
