According to their website www.caldrea.com...

What does Ms. Faux think?

Well hunties they pride themselves on being a green company.  For which Ms. Faux can appreciate.  Their slogan, "Beautifully Clean, Elegantly Green," and they mean it.

These are wonderfully gentle products and yes I have sampled them all, most recently last night when I washed my sheets.  This is the only detergent and fabric softener that I will use on them because it makes my bed just a treat.  So this is why I was so prompted to feature them on my blog.

First I will do a run down of my favorite of my scents and then my favorite of their products, though all of them are wonderful.

First Favorite Scents

I have to say without question my favorite scent is Rosewater Driftwood.  It is the most perfect balance of rose, gardenia, lily of the valley, cedar and white musk with a cool water base.  Imagine if heaven exists what you would imagine it to smell like.  Well this is my heaven and while I mainly use it as a linen spray, detergent and fabric softener, I can easily see this translating to other products in my home.  The scent is intoxicating.

That being said, Plum Market, where I currently get my Caldrea detergents was out of Rosewater Driftwood detergent, therefore I had to do what I thought was going to be a ghastly chore of selecting another scent.  It was ghastly in a sense that all of them are delicious.  I loved Black Corriander Lime and Sea Salt Neroli, but I ended up with a new go to for my bedding and that was Pear Blossom Agave.

The thing that  caused me to consider this was one of my favorite perfumes of all time is Jo Malone's Blue Agava and Cacao Perfume.  It is the most deliciously beautiful light scent.  Caldrea does well with it's Pear Blossom, ripe citrus and succulent melon nestled in agave.  Do not mistake this for a fruity scent and note that it said pear, "blossom."  The floral gives it a light and sophisticated aroma, perfect again for bedding.

For my kitchen I do care for other scents like Basil Blue Sage,  a beautiful mixture of rosemary, spearmint, cinnamon leaf as well as it's namesakes basil and sage.

I also enjoy Mandarin Vetiver which mixes citrus zests with the delicious woody vetiver.  It is, in a word, intoxicating.

Now as far as my review of the products I will say I do your their dish soap, hand soap, and laundry detergents the most, however like I said I have used them all at one point or other and here is my opinion of the line.  All pricing below is from their Caldrea.com website, however prices are comparable at Target and Plum Market.  I believe you can also find their products at Whole Foods.

Laundry Products

We all know that I'm in love with their detergent and I will stipulate their liquid fabric softener.  The sheets reminds me of Ms. Meyers brand sheets.  They are kind of stiff and I don't feel they do as good of a job as the liquid softener.  I do however love to put them in shoes and drawers to have my clothes retain the smell.  That being said in some form or other the entire line is beautiful and below is the pricing. I would however probably not buy the sport and delicate wash.  For delicates I do prefer Victoria Secret's Delicate Wash, however it isn't always the easiest to find.  This would definitely be a second choice in that situation.  Also in terms of a Sports Wash I would likely use Tide Sports Detergent.  Below is the pricing for the remainder of the laundry line.  They even have a little somethin' somethin' for a baby.

Household Cleaners
Featured here with a scrub brush also available for $5.50

Now for household cleaners I use their countertop spray, dish soap and all purpose cleaner.  I love them all.  Of the three the dish soap remains in the most constant rotation.  It cleans great and smells delicious.  I love the smell of my hands when I am finished using it.  Also although in my kitchen because of my crazy white countertops I have to use a bleach spray to clean them, but after that dries I go over it with a less abrasive scent and something that isn't as dangerous on my food.  for that I use their countertop spray.  Now I will say for my cutting board the only thing that comes close to it is ECOs Parsley Plus Spray because it smells and tastes of parsley so there is no contamination of my food.

Otherwise the all purpose cleaner is perfection.  Prices are below.

Hand Care

I want these products in every bath, kitchen and everywhere else I go.  The brilliance of this product is that they come in all shapes, sizes, refills, etc...  Also they are all brilliant.  So in instead of listing them all I'm going to list the basics below but know if you click HERE it will take you to Caldrea Hand Care Heaven.  Go there as they seriously have some great sink double kits (see above).

Hand Soap - $10.50
Hand Lotion - $10.50
Decorative Glass Hand Soap - $18.50
Hand Soap Refill - $20

Now it doesn't just end there for Hand care.  I wanted to show you my absolute favorite of all the hand care products and I just tried it.

What is it?  According to Caldrea.com...

Caldrea Rosewater Driftwood Hand Balm is a decadent cream rich with Shea Butter to work beautifully on hardworking hands. Sinks in quickly to leave hands soft and delicately scented. Perfectly sized for handbag, boudoir or sink.

What does Ms. Faux think?

Well hunties although there were other scents you know Ms. Faux went with her favorite Rosewater Driftwood.  This hand cream is soooooooo softening and smells sooooo good.  It won't replace my L'Occitane Shea Butter Handcream, but ooooh chile, do it work real well.   It is amazing?  Yes.  Is it No. 2 on my list of go to hand creams?  Yes.  Is it currently #1 but I will likely go back?  Yes.  It is real damn good.  In the scent department it has L'Occitane beat, however in overall feel, L'Occitane... you still my boo.

Candles

Caldrea Candles $13-$20 at Caldrea.com

Now lastly Caldrea do make a real nice candle.  Ms. Faux is a candle whore.  I was gonna try to me nice about it, but when it comes to candles Ms. Faux is a whore.  She has all types, shapes, sizes, etc... You name it. But she a classy ho.  Her candles only smell the best.  Preach.  Caldrea do fit her bill.  Seriously check them out.

So there you go.  Seriously check out their website at Caldrea.com or visit your local Target, Plum Market, Whole Foods or anywhere else Caldrea is sold.
