Fab Five Friday: 12.18.2015

My Cousin Vinny

So today we will start with one of my favorite characters from a movie ever, Vinny, from, "My Cousin Vinny."  If you haven't seen it go now and rent or buy it.  That being said lets get to Ms. Faux's favorite five products of the week.

What is it?  According to MACcosmetics.com...

A lightweight mist of water packed with vitamins and minerals, infused with a blend of green tea, chamomile and cucumber to gently soothe and refresh the skin. Gives an instant boost of hydration while delivering a soft sheen to refresh and finish makeup.

This has been a week where Ms. Faux has quickly put on her make up and there is no setting spray in this world that seems to just bring your make up all together like MAC Fix +.  Seriously it is the best.  It can look as if a toddler put on my make up and somehow this product just melds it all together.

What is it?  According to theBalm.com...

"How 'Bout Them Apples?" is a multi-functioning lip and cheek cream palette. Each freshly picked color is formulated to have a smooth finish that won't streak or fade, so there are no bad apples in this bunch!

Ms. Faux has normal skin, but during the winter it can get a little dryer and also with the amount of revelry Ms. Faux has been imbibing in during this festive holiday month, lets just say my skin is a little dehydrated.  These delightful blushes help as they go on as a lovely cream and help to keep Ms. Faux skin looking a dream.  Also theBalm has cheeky packaging that just makes Ms. Faux smile.

What is it?  According to JosieMaranCosmetics.com...

My bestselling Argan Infinity Intensive Creamy Oil, now in 6 hydrating tints for lips and cheeks.  Each tube is 15mL / 0.5 fl. oz.

Why I love it: Hydrating, nourishing, Argan Oil-infused, this tinted treatment starts as a cream and melts into an oil for sheer, natural-looking, never-greasy color.
What's in it: In addition to 100% pure argan oil, it's packed with natural oils and butters from sunflowers, tangerines, oranges and more.
What's not in it: We're proud to say that these argan beautifiers are 97% natural and petroleum free, with no parabens, no sulfates and no phthalates.
How to use it: Apply a small amount to the lips or the apples of the cheeks for the perfect pop of hydrating color.

Once again my skin is a bit dehydrated and this lovely cheek oil (also a lip oil) is just what my skin needed.  Also I love the dewy look it gives the cheek.  I do like this less on the lip, but I have definitely used it for the lips, but I do prefer a lip balm, lipstick or gloss.  The lovely lip and cheek oil also comes in an array of colors so there is a little somethin' somethin' to go with all of your looks.  Seriously, if you are looking for that ethereal/dewy look you have to look no further.  I do this this product does it better than any other.

What is it?  According to Ulta.com...

A hint of color complements light and blonde hair tones and helps blend in root re-growth of colored, tinted or bleached hair. A quick burst revitalizes hair, leaving it feeling clean and fresh. No need to worry about skipping a shampoo.

Now I do love a dry shampoo, but what I don't like about a lot of dry shampoos is the white powdery residue.  Granted if you are patient and have enough finesse, you hair will absorb it and you can simply brush it out, however with this product you don't have to worry.  It comes in three color options and with this dark brown one I never have to worry that I have not brushed out my pesky residue.  Bonus:  It smells delicious and allows Ms. Faux to be lazy in the winter months when the last thing she wants is wet hair on a cold day.
What is it?  According to Ulta.com...

A non-greasy hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil, and marshmallow. Scented with our Original Pink Rose & Bergamot fragrance, combining fresh bergamot, mandarin, rose, jasmine, peach, strawberry, and soft musk & amber base notes for skin that is blissfully clean and silky-soft.

Hunties you all know how much I love Soap & Glory.  Click HERE to see any number of blogs I have written on their products.  THEY.  ARE.  BRILLIANT.  This hand lotion however is perfection.  Now L'Occitane's Hand Cream remains my all time favorite hand cream, however I do love this one as well.  First it isn't greasy and absorbs into your hands quickly.  Second it smells of the classic, "Pink Rose & Bergamot," Soap & Glory fragrance which is just beautiful  I love it.  Have I mentioned that I love it?  I love it.

So there you go.  Ms. Faux's Fab Five Products that kept her from lookin' a fool.  Also I haven't forgotten about that ELF Cosmetics Haul blog I owe ya'll.  It is currently being worked on along with some more gift guides so keep checking back.
