Perfect "Hot" Cold Remedy Drinks To Help Fight Inflamation #1

So Ms. Faux got back to work and is nursing a terrible cold.  It is in its beginning stages and I feel I can head it off at the pass.  Here are a few anti-inflammation drinks that her friend Ms. Mia posted today to help out.

I have heard of these but have yet to try all of them, but know of the anti-inflammation properties as Ms. Faux has to follow a anti-inflammation diet from time to time.  If these could work on my gut, why not my sinuses and throat.  So here you go.  From Dr. Faux* (*not really a doctor).

HOT PINEAPPLE ELIXIR

Ingreedients

1/2 - 1 Cup Pineapple juice
1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 tbsp honey

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a mug and heat slowly to your preferred temperature.

Why is this good for you?

Pineapple juice has many anti-inflammatory properties and helps to reduce phlegm buildup and also to sooth the throat.  It has a very good vitamin C content to help your immune system.

Apple cider vinegar helps to alkalinize your body.  When this happens viral bacteria cannot sustain as well.

Cayenne pepper provides warmth to the body internally and helps to fight fevers.

Honey has antiviral, antifungal and antibacterials powers.  In fact doctors have recommended you take honey from a region that you might have allergies from as a way to fight allergies.

Want more cold fighting hot drinks?  I will be releasing two more recipies over the next couple days.  Check back.
