Pretend that sentence was to the tune, "My Favorite Things." Oooooh if I only had the rights, but no dice. Ms. Faux will not go.
I don't know what any of this means because my brain is on overdrive with the Glossier product Boy Brow.

| Boy Brow - $16 at Glossier.com |
"What is it?," you all say. It is the brow gel to end all brow gels, but lets not all get ahead of ourselves. Let me legit tell you how I feel.
According to Glossier.com...
All brow needs have been considered to create THE brow product: one to thicken, fill in, and groom them into place. The creamy wax formula is inspired by traditional hair pomade for soft, flexible hold that doesn’t stiffen or flake. A sheer pigment load gives a natural oomph of color so brows look fuller and more even, and the tiny tapered brush allows for precise application. We’re inspired by healthy, face-framing brows and consider brow grooming the last crucial step before heading out into the world: brush your teeth, brush your brows, and then maybe brush your hair.
Now what does Ms. Faux think?
Hunties we know I'm in love. I just called it the brow gel to end all brow gels. Weren't you listenin'? Just kidding. Seriously though I think the best way I can express my love of this product is to compare it to other products of the same type that I have tried. Now these are going to be colored brow gels and not pomades or powder because that would be like comparing an apple and an orange.
That being said, Glossier's Boy Brow thickened my brows and was so simple and quick. It is perfect for those days (let's be real every day for Ms. Faux) when you don't want to take the time to fill in your brow. It looks incredibly natural. I just love it.
Benefit Gimme Brow - $24 at Ulta.com
First... probably the closest in type, texture and even wand size is Benefit's Gimme Brow
Ulta.com describes Gimme Brow as...
Bring on the brows! This innovative brush-on fiber gel adheres to skin & hair...creating brows where before there were none. It builds easily for thick, lush arches, thanks to a tapered brush for blending & precision tip for shaping.
Innovative brush-on fiber gel:
Innovative brush-on fiber gel:

- Buildable

- 97% said brows looked fuller*
- 100% said it was smudge proof*
- 100% said it looked natural*
- 94% said results were long-wearing*
*Results observed in consumer panel survey
Ms. Faux's take:
1. More expensive than Glossier's Boy Brow for what looks to be the same amount.
2. Less volumizing than Glossier's Boy Brow
Otherwise they are very similar in many ways. Save $8 though hunties for a better product. With Glossier's free shipping, why would you not.
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel - $22 at Sephora.com
What is it? According to Sephora.com...
What it is:
A tinted brow gel.
What it is formulated to do:
For those with thin, sparse brows, this unique, botanical formula gives the appearance of fuller, thicker brows. The combination of cream and gel effortlessly defines and fills in the look of brows while controlling and shaping without flaking or fading.
What else you need to know:
The non-greasy formula can easily be removed at night with a facial cleanser or makeup remover. Housed in a sleek, portable tube that allows for precise, no-mess application, Anastasia's Tinted Brow Gel is perfect for instant brow touch-ups anyplace, anytime. It's the must-have tool for any beauty-savvy woman.
Ms. Faux's take:
1. More expensive than Glossier's Boy Brow for a larger amount granted.
2. Less volumizing than both Gimme Brow and Boy Brow
3. The want is also substantially bigger, making it a little difficult for control. Still maybe big is your thing.
That being said Anastasia has better color selection and like I mentioned before you do get more product. Still I will take Glossier's Boy Brow any day of the week thank you. Hell I would take Gimme brow over this product. There. I said it.
3. Maybelline Brow Drama - $7.99 at Ulta.com (Currently Buy 1 Get 1 1/2 off)
What is it? According to Ulta.com...
Bold and sculpted? How's that for brow drama? Eye Studio Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara is Maybelline's first brow mascara that defines arches with the first-ever Sculpting Ball Brush. A colored gel tints brows and provides an even, natural, comfortable hold. No clumping. No flaking.
Brush Maybelline Eyestudio Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara onto eyebrows in light upwards strokes. Follow along brow contour. For a more dramatic look, use darker tint. Smudge proof. Removes easily with Maybelline Makeup Remover.
Ms. Faux's take:
1. Less volumizing than Gimme Brow & Boy Brow.
2. Easier to control than Anastasia, but still not as easy as Gimme Brow & Boy Brow
Otherwise this is a very affordable product (especially when on sale as it is now) and a decent one. Still I will always reach for Gimme Brow first if I have it and definitely Boy Brow first over all others. Still a solid product with better color selection than even Benefit.
4. NYX Cosmetics Tinted Brow Mascara - $6.99 at Ulta.com (Currently Buy 1 Get 1 1/2 Off)
What is it? According to Ulta.com...
No shame in wishing for a strong beautiful brow! NYX Cosmetics foolproof Tinted Brow Mascara helps your dream come true. It sets, tames and tints brows for natural-looking wear. Their dependable formula leaves brows feeling soft while maintaining complete control.
Ms. Faux's Take...
1. Very similar to Gimme Brow but with better color selection than Benefit.
2. Not as volumizing as Glossier's Boy Brow
3. Definitely my #2 of all of these.
You all know my love of NYX Cosmetics. They are hella affordable and just so damn good. Still... sad to report, Ms. Faux is not sponsored by this brand. How could they not? I'm having a love affair with them. Still I get nothing from them and I continue to sing their praises. Cross me once NYX. :)
The Lowdown...
Now I know there are other formulas by Ulta, Lancome and Catrice that I have yet to try so I will have no comment. Still I'm not the only person who is singing the praises of Glossier's Boy Brow and I can see why. Throw a rock and you will hit a blogger singing their praises. Still if you are looking for my list in order of love (calculating in price, ease of use, how good it is, etc...) this would be my rundown.
1. Glossier's Gimme Brow
2. NYX - Tinted Brow Mascara
3. Benefit - Gimme Brow
4. Maybelline - Brow Drama
5. Anastasia Beverly Hills - Tinted Brow Gel
And there you have it. Ms. Faux has done fallen in love with another. How long will this one last?
