So just recently I was introduced to Catrice Cosmetics (available at Ulta.com) and thought I would give it a little whirl. A lot of beauty bloggers as well as YouTube Channels seem to mention them a lot so Ms. Faux thought she would give them a whirl.
Now... by no means did I buy everything, but just a basic smattering of products to see if this is a cosmetics line that can wet my whistle. For the price it does, but it is not without flaws. They by no means are glaring flaws. Here are a few of the bits that I picked up and what I thought.
I am going to link everything to Ulta.com where I bought these so I will only list their price, name and what it is. All links will take you to Ulta.com. That is also where I will get any information I share below. Also although I'm listing the price, please note that Ulta is currently offering everything for Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off. So this affordable brand just got more affordable.

Chequered and cheeky! The Illuminating Blush from Catrice combines two different color intensities - a subtle shimmer and a light pearl. This accentuates the cheekbones as well as giving your complexion definition and a soft glow! Not tested on animals.
What does Ms. Faux think?
It is by no means buttery, but also not dry. Kind of a right in the middle type of product. It is a lovely rose nude shade that will pair very well with all kinds of looks. They also have two other shades, "Coral Me Maybe," (a coral blush) and "Kiss Me Ken," (more of a berry tone).
Though this is not a favorite product, I can see myself using this blush. For the price is is amazing.

Heavy metal! Catrice Liquid Metal Eyeshadow dazzles eyes with high pigmentation and extraordinary metallic shine. Reminiscent of liquid metal, this silky powder is sure to make your eyes shine instantly. The unique 3D embossment turns this eyeshadow into an absolute highlight. The texture is smooth, easy to blend, and long-lasting. Mix and match to create brilliant metallic looks. Not tested on animals.
What does Ms. Faux think?
There are only 6 shades available on Ulta.com right now. Ms. Faux got, "Nougat It Right," (Row 1, 3rd Column) and "What Do You Sea," (3rd Row, 3rd Column)
Again they aren't really buttery, but certainly not chalky dry. What they are is HIGHLY PIGMENTED. Nougat It Right is a gorgeous deep chocolate brown and What Do You See is beautiful brown/teal color. Put on wet for an amazing pop of color, but trust they do alright on their own.

True velvet! The Catrice Velvet Matt Eyeshadows contain ultra-soft pigments for a velvety matte finish. Thanks to the silky, highly pigmented formula, these shadows practically melt into skin to create a radiant look. Not tested on animals.
What does Ms. Faux think?
I only got one of these in, "Al Burgundi," and I'm already regretting that decision. Why? I wish I had gotten more. However as I look at the Ulta.com website I realize why I only got this one. There aren't that many dark colors and that is what I was shopping for. Still if you are into lighter eyeshadow the formulation on these are much like the first two in texture, but the gorgeous finish is like a love semi-matte. A slight sheen, but still matte. Absolutely gorgeous.

Sun salutations! A liquid bronzer for a natural tanned shimmer. This Catrice Bronzing Highlighter Pen is easy to apply on your cheeks and blend. Now the sun shines all year long! Not tested on animals.

Beauty marker! This silvery-pink Illuminating Highlighter Pen from Catrice ensures a radiant complexion with a silky soft shimmer.
What did Ms. Faux think?\
Pick your poison for the highlight you want, a rosy pink or a golden glow. These products are an easy to use, easy to control, quality highlighter. If you are looking into delving into the world of highlights, you can't go wrong. Also after application the product stays there. It is also right between a subtle highlight and a golden unicorn.
What do I mean? It is going to give you a beautiful flush of glimmer without looking like a golden unicorn threw up all over you. Absolute perfection.
The only drawback to these is that I'm not sure that there is a ton of product in them. Still for $5.99 (or less with the deal I got) it is a decent highlighter.

I like it. Is it the end all be all of lip glosses? No, but it is comfortable and a very good lip gloss especially for the price. They also have an amazing range of shades, especially nudes. Ms. Faux got Nude-tricious (first in the series above) and it definitely will be used.

What does Ms. Faux think?
Seven colors, so somewhat limited, but they have the colors you are going to expect like nudes, pinks, red, corals and browns so it is very well round. It is the sheer color of a balm in a lip stick.
Ms. Faux got Rose and Woody, which is the perfect balm color. You almost don't need the others. This one is perfection., but now that I love it I will likely try a few others. That is how much I liked it.

Only 3 colors, but again this is meant to be subtle color so how many in this one do you need. Ms. Faux got Sweet Caramel which is probably the best for my complexion, however I think that the coral and pink shades could work for other complexions. A very good product. My lips looked plump and glossy.
So there you go hunties... Ms. Faux will not be cursing this brand for filth. It is actually pretty good for its price point. Again there are definitely better, but this is good for affordable.
