So hunties, Ms. Faux done fell into a Thanksgiving coma and forgot about her blog. Truth be told, I just get really busy this time of year and well... something had to give. I'm back though and will try once again to do this once a day.
Today's Fab Five Friday starts off with Ricky Gervais. Why? I love him. Think he should be the next Ex-Mr. Faux and he's funny, loves animals (a well documented animal rights activist), he's an atheist like Ms. Faux, he loves his adorable kitty and let's be honest... is a bit of a smart ass which Ms. Faux do love.
If you have not seen Mr. Gervais in his Stand Up Special, "Out of England," (available at Amazon.com), I suggestion you stop what you are doing and go now to watch. Actually finish reading this blog first.
Now off we go to some Fabulous Products.

My lashes were HUGE!!! I mean HUGE! I looked like a drag queen and we all know how Ms. Faux love a good drag queen.
Seriously though, it provided my lashes with the look that you get when you prime your lashes with a fiber primer and then add mascara. You guys get to skip a step. Werk L'Oreal! You know I do care for you.

Luxury Powders Ben Nye Luxury Powders are micro-milled for a silky feel with just a hint of color, making them best sellers throughout the world. Artists rely on all eleven shades, including Banana, Cameo, Buff, Camel and Nutmeg. All available in three sizes: new Dome Jar, small and large Shaker bottles.
What does Ms. Faux think?
It is sooooooooo finely milled just as good as some expensive powders out there. I will say however there are many good powders on the drug store front that aren't expensive. In other words if you are going to spend money on cosmetics, powder is generally not the way to spend the duckets. There are lots of good ones.
That being said, this is sooooooo amazingly milled and feels like silk on your face. I use it to bake a concealer under my eyes and after I use the excess to do my T Zone as I like the rest of my face to look dewy. In other words, it will take me forever to use this.
Ms. Kim Kardashian and many drag queens before her have used their Banana version to, "Bake" a gorgeous undereye highlight. Ms. Faux is just a little too pale for the banana shade.
All that being said, it is an amazing product that I will continue to use.

What it is:
A creamy, no-shimmer lip gloss with a tingling, plumping effect.
What it does:
No shimmer or glimmer—just creamy, glass-smooth gloss, decadent color, intoxicating shine, and famous tingle for a gentle plumping effect. Encapsulated hyaluronic spheres infuse lips with moisture while vitamins A and E help keep them supple, protected, and extra kissable.

I have been using this in tandem with my #4. Fab Five Friday pick with is a lip pencil. I color my entire lip in and then layer this over the top which gives the most gorgeous of nude colors.
It has a lovely peppermint tingle on the lips that is supposed to plump. Not sure it does. Well actually when I wear this my lips definitely look more uniform in texture so I guess it really does work. Here is a tip. For the price of about 3 of these products you can get the Buxom Leave Your Mark Full-On Lip Polish and Lip Cream Holiday Set for $59 at Sephora.com
That's 15 shades that you can try out. I don't think that is all of their shades, but that is a lot of them. Yes they are about 1/2 the size of a regular sized gloss, but lets be really when do most of us every finish an entire gloss. In case you guys haven't seen it, this is one of Ms. Faux Favorite Holiday Palettes. A lot of Bang for the buck.
What is it? According to Ulta.com...
The comfortable, smudge-resistant formula glides on effortlessly and prevents lipstick from feathering and bleeding, for a look that's always fresh. Wear alone or under your favorite LancĂ´me Lip Color.
What does Ms. Faux think?
It is a your lips, but better color that is creamy and easy to fill in your entire lip. This gives you those gorgeous and precise lips that you see on the pouts of some of the most beautiful women in the world, after they have sat in a make up chair. Hee Hee! I mean look at the color.
It is also hella convenient. Just throw in your purse and go.

What it is:
An oil-free cream highlighting stick.
What it does:
Accentuate your best features with this highlighting stick, formulated with light-reflecting optics to illuminate the face. Long-wearing and oil-free, it’s ideal for wearing over bare skin or foundation, and to spotlight the top of cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and other areas.
What does Ms. Faux think?
I love it. Are there better highlighters? Yes. Is this a really good one? Yes. Is this one getting picked up by Ms. Faux because it is so easy to use and cuts her getting ready time while being a really good highlighter. Yes.
I love this thing and seriously find myself reaching for it just for the ease of application. Couple of swipes. Couple of taps and your are out the door. Also if you are just delving into the highlighter world, this application has a lot of control vs. others. A very well made product.
