What does Ms. Faux think?
I'm not an incredible fan of matte lipsticks because they are so incredibly drying on the lips. I do however looooooove the look. I've looked near and far and haven't been able to find one that I just love. The closest was likely NYX's Liquid Suede and I do love that matte lipstick, but it too is just a tiny bit drying.
That is until now. Leave it to L'Oreal to knock it out of the park with their new Infallible Pro-Matte-Gloss.
This lip product I will admit is quite confusing. A matte lipgloss? That doesn't even make sense and there seemingly isn't anything like it on the market (save NYX's Liquid Suede Lipstick).
But it works. It is the gorgeous look of a matte lipstick (with albeit a slight sheen, but it is the slightest). However what it lacks is the drying feeling of a matte lipstick.
The slip that this formula has is that of a gloss and feels so very comfortable on your lips. Not at all drying.
It comes in an array of colors (10 total) that I feel anyone is going to find many that work for them. I think I have found all but two that I absolutely love, including the beautiful red below.
Potentially Ms. Faux's favorite however was Statement Nude, pictured below.
For real, this is an amazing product and now Ms. Faux can finally wear more shades of matte lipstick. Also at $10 they are at a price that can't be beat.
