First of all it is highly corrosive on your pipes and typically does not work on grease. Here is a all natural solution that do though.
Instructions
- 1Add 1/2 cup baking soda and 1/2 cup white vinegar in a medium bowl.
- 2Pour the mixture down the drain and allow it to sit overnight. The baking soda and vinegar will begin to break down the grease.
- 3Pour 2 gallons water into a large cooking pot. Bring the pot to a boil.
- 4Remove the water from the heat and add 1/4 cup grease-dissolving liquid dish detergent to the water.
- 5Slowly pour the hot water and dish detergent mixture into the drain. Hold the pot directly over the drain and wear oven mitts to prevent a burn.
- 6Allow the faucet to run to check if the clog is removed. If it is still present, repeat the process of pouring boiling water down the drain.
