FauxPrah's First Love...
So I'm sure as most women getting into make-up, most of our first... Make up you dirty birds. At least first quality, high end product was probably by MAC Cosmetics. There is something so very edgy about the brand. As far as I can recall they were one of the first if not the first cosmetics firm to support AIDS research and did so back in a time when it was still not completely accepted.
So Miss FauxPrah came into MAC and they are always more than ready to help, but she do care for just trying out everything before committing to a color or a product. Usually they do think Ms. FauxPrah is a make up artist because she understands light, shadow, texture and color. All because Ms. FauxPrah worked in design in the theatre. Her knowledge is from lighting design and actually mixing paint for backdrops so while in MAC Ms. FauxPrah do look like some swatches just attacked her hand or arm

But seriously look at the color. It is the middle in the swatch below. Heavenly. But seriously there seems to be something similar in the new Laura Mercier Pallette that I mentioned I'm reviewing on Tuesday and I like more of those colors so waste not want not. I will return it.

So Ms. FauxPrah was inspired by her new love of their Dazzleglass Line $20 at MAC. There are many reasons Ms. FauxPrah do care for this line. One as I have mentioned before is that the opal and quartzlike fleck in the gloss captures light like no other gloss I have seen. Ms. FauxPrah as she mentioned is a lighting designer so I do understand the importance of a good reflection and shadow, but hunties this lip product ain't about anything but shine. Reflecting the light in an almost blinding way. Your lips become rock stars. Mick Jagger baby.
These flecks do nothin' but make those lips looks so wet and kissable. Also it is very moisturizing and smells like MAC's signature vanilla fragrance. Ms. FauxPrah got it in Bare Necessity.

Now Ms. FauxPrah Did not get Dazzleglass in Date Night $20 at MAC but she did try it on and it is now on her wishlist. It is a gorgeous blue purple with pearl. Perfection.

Next I may have found FauxPrah's lips livin' their best life. And that is MAC's Lustre Lipstick In Midi-Mauve $16 at Mac. It is Ms. FauxPrah's lips but lookin' their damn fool best. I am livin' for this color hunties. It is a gorgeous rosy mauve with pearl. So basically the color Ms. FauxPrah wishes her lips were.

The last two lipstick purchases pair so well with my final purchase which I just save for last because I just love the name of it. It is MAC's Casual Color Lip & Cheek Color in HAVE A LOVELY DAY! $22 at MAC. I swear I swear this is the perfect neutral nude.

So there you go hunties and beauties. Ms. FauxPrah's first love high end love MAC. And I remind you that high end does not mean the best. Ms. FauxPrah has found just as many if not more affordable cosmetics. I do admit MAC's lip colors and eye colors are generally unparalleled, but certainly not the end all be all. Check into NYX Cosmetics for a more affordable line with similar color selection. Still you always love your first. And Remember
