Coconut Challenge: Skin. Teeth. Hair!

COCONT CHALLENGE PT. 1:
SKIN.  TEETH.  HAIR

So I started my Coconut Challenge tonight.  Some things I won't need to try.  FauxPrah has skin white as snow so no need for a sunburn soother.  I'm serious.  I'm like Powder.

Hi.  I'm FauxPrah.  I was in a movie with Mary Steenbergen

I haven't had acne my entire life so that won't help.  Should FauxPrah get a wax its done by a professional.  Bitch don't play.

I also have no children so breastfeeding isn't an issue.  I actually have low cholesterol so that won't ever help me and up until 30 minutes ago I didn't have a cut, but FauxPrah will do anything for her blog so I shoved a pair of scissors into my fingertip.  I'll let you know how that coconut oil is working for me later.

So here are the things I have tried so far.

First I tried it as a make up remover.  Brilliant.

Then I tried it as toothpaste with baking soda.  Will get back to you here.  I plan to make this part of my nightly routine for the next few days.  Not sure I can go morning and night without brushing with toothpaste.  I have a dentist appointment on Thursday so I will get the real deal on this.

Next I tried it as a moisturizer and eye cream.  My face has never been softer.  I had both my friend TP and my Aussie friend touch it.  They petted me like a cat and both agreed... very soft.

And speaking of cats...  Remember how Fauxprah said that she would look like the following should she put this in her hair?

Well... TP told me to try it.  I did.  I will let you know tomorrow morning how sad I look.  The good thing is that doing this I got to take a coconut oil bath.  Usually if I don't put on lotion after a bath I have tight skin.  So far I feel great.

So there is my update for food old fashioned Coconut Oil.  I plan to keep on using it as a make up remover, moisturizer and eye cream.  We will see about the rest.

Check back tomorrow where I give my thoughts on putting a scoop in a cup of tea for an energy boost and on my lips as a lip moisturizer.  Also I plan to continue cleansing (including a scrub made of the oil and baking soda) and especially moisturizing to see if it helps with the single age spot on my right cheek.  FauxPrah might even go the day using coconut oil as her deodorant.  Be sure to tell her if she stank!

See you tomorrow!
