New Spot: Fab Five Friday

So if FauxPrah is inspired by Mother Oprah, then her fierce Father would be no other than Ru.  So in the spirit and love of Ru, I am starting a spot called, FAB FIVE FRIDAY.  What is it.  Well it basically will be my five most use products of the week.  Some of these you will see from week to week because FauxPrah do have her favorites.  This week these were used every day by Ms. FauxPrah

What it claim to do:  Eye Duty Triple Remedy instantly erases dark circles while delivering serious, long-term skincare benefits to the orbital eye area. Upon application, it instantly brightens the entire eye area with a soft universal tint and light reflecting pigments that create an illusion of bright, smooth, and youthful skin. Over the long term, actives in the formula significantly improve the appearance of undereye puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines. The unique stainless steel applicator, which mimics the shape of the pinkie finger, delivers micro stimulation to the area while flawlessly blending the product into the skin. The results are instant with no clumping, caking, or messiness.

Do it do?  In FauxPrah's opinion, YESSSSSSSSSS HUNTIES!  If you haven't seen some of my first blogs well then you don't know, but this has pretty much on here since day 1.  $36 at Sephora this is considered one of the Holy Grails by Ms. FauxPrah.  A little pricey?  Yes, but it is well worth it.  This be where you spend your duckets.

#2 MAC Cleanse Off Oil

MAC Cleanse Off Oil

What it claim to do:  an industry-strength oil-based makeup remover that's gentle on the skin. Botanically formulated with oils of olive fruit, evening primrose and jojoba seed and absolutely 100 percent mineral-oil free. Massages onto the skin to loosen all makeup, including waterproof mascara. Emulsifies into a lotion-type liquid with water: rinses off easily, no tissues required - and no residue! Protects with vitamin E. Skin softening and conditioning. Good for all skin types.

Do it do?  Yes.  It is the best and in FauxPrah's personal opinion perfectly balanced and a delicious nice light fragrance.  At $31 at MAC it again is money well spent.  A little (two pumps) also goes a long way.  It will also melt all your make up off your face.  Another Holy Grail.

#3 Matrix OIL WONDERS EGYPTIAN HIBISCUS COLOR CARING OIL
What It Claim To Do?  A scented Egyptian Hibiscus oil-infused treatment formula restores vibrancy of color-treated hair with 75% more shine while providing softness.  Suitable for all hair types

Do It Do?  Yes.  Ms. FauxPrah have fairly shiny hair, but it does its job even with her hair.  I will add that my color has faded less and leaves it soooooo soft.  Added bonus... it helps cut down dry time.  Matrix Oil Wonders Egyptian Hibiscus Color Caring Oil $24 at ULTA.

#4 Bumkins Reusable Flannel Wipes

What It Claim To Do?  100% unbleached cotton flannel reusable wipes for comfort and softness during diaper changes.  Say what now?  It's there to clean the canned hams of babies.

Do It Do?  FauxPrah would not know about baby hams, but it makes the perfect make-up remover cloth.  Super soft so it doesn't pull at the face and totally re-washable.  $10 for a Pack of 12 on Amazon.  FauxPrah love.  It werk girl.

#5 NIVEA Soft Face/Body/Hand Creme

What it Claim To Do?  The fast absorbing, light formula is enriched with Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil for incredibly soft and supple skin all day long.

What It Do?  It do what it say.  FauxPrah's face has never been softer.  She do LOOOOOOVE!  Pretty soon she will be doing the Nivea vs. the Creme de la Mer challenge.  A little over $5 at Target for 6.8 oz. of NIVEA Soft Creme vs. $450 for Creme de la Mer for 3.4 oz. (their largest size and 1/2 the size of Nivea).  Check back soon.  But nonetheless this is a fabulous product.  If it weren't do you think FauxPrah would devote 7 days to it?  Hell no.

So that is it.  FauxPrah's Fab Five Friday Inaugural Post.  What will she change next week?

In the words of the Immortal Ru...
