Yesterday I posted about good brow maintenance, tinting, waxing, plucking, trimming and the like. I do truly believe that good brows separate the girls from the ladies. The queens from the boys in a dress. Today I will follow up on some of my favorite products to do it yourself, help maintain between waxing, threading, etc... and to fill in your brows for more impact.
First of all maintenance. I am still a firm believer of professionals doing all major plucking, waxing, threading, etc... by a professional, however here are some tools that everyone needs in their kit to maintain between appointments. I ain't Vidal Sassoon. PREACH!!! Anyway here are some products to get you on your way. You don't want to be no Kahlo... unless you gots the talent to back that up.

FAVORITE BROW BRUSH: I have a Sephora Pro Brow Brush $15 at Sephora. You can use cheaper definitely and likely can re-purpose a mascara brush.
FAVORITE BROW GEL: I recommend both a clear and a tinted gel. You will use the tinted gel for maintenance and the tinted gel typically to set your brow make up. I personally use Anastasia Beverly Hills for both ($22) at Sephora. Seriously though I highly recommend their Tinted Brow Gel, however you can get your money's worth with Sonia Kashuk Brow Gel for $6 at Target. I will do a full on brow gel review in a later blog but this will get you started.
FAVORITE BROW SCISSORS: I again recommend Tweezerman. Their scissors are super duper sharp and you can usually get them with a brow brush.
FAVORITE COSMETICS: FAUXPRAH HAS A NEW FAVORITE!!! For years I have used MAC's Brow Shader (discontinued). I do admit that I try others and they seem to be my favorite, but I always come back to this. I will never toss it out. I haven't found anything to this date comparable. Until now!!!
SMASHBOX BROW TECH TRIO in Dark Brown. $26 The thing is... I think I love it even more. Don't tell MAC.
The powders are gorgeous and blend very well, much like MAC. Here is what pushes it over the edge to BRILLIANCE!!! I live for for it. I die. That larger swatch that you see above... tuck yourself ladies? It is brow wax! Church, Mormon Tabernacle. Halleloo!
