HELLO... Is it me you're looking for?
So Ms. FauxPrah do love her garlic, but what she don't like is her dragon breath after her forays into the garlic world. Also... although she advancing in age, Ms. FauxPrah gots braces which requires many more trips to brush the teeth.
No usually I use a whitening toothpaste and mouth rinse. The braces on top are porcelain and prone to staining because Ms. FauxPrah do love her coffee and tea so they are prone to staining.

One more tip for those with porcelain braces. As you know if you get clear orthodontic bands on your teeth, after a while they start to yellow, thus looking like dirty teeth. The last couple of times Ms. FauxPrah has tried the color, "smoke." It looks like a light gray, but when it goes on your teeth it is clear and guess what... NO YELLOWING!
See... You can't even see them and they make you look like you are actually brushing. Trust me with clear bands you can use whitening products and it doesn't matter. They will always yellow.
So back to HELLO PRODUCTS. Like I said I use a whitening toothpaste and rinse in the morning and at night however during the day it might be nice to have something a little more natural so I went to looking.
Sure there is Tom's of Maine, but I have to admit Hello dental products got me with their packaging. Super modern and their Pink Grapefruit Mouthwash or as I like to call it Pamplemousse Rose Methe is super pink and girly. Although Ms. FauxPrah do like Home Depot, she is also very girly. I got the toothpaste and breath spray to go with it.
Pros:
The size is great and ergonomic. The flavors are delicious. So far I have tried the Grapefruit Mint and Mojito Mint and love both. It also has no dyes, artificial sweeteners or alcohol. So you can take it into rehab. They tried to make Ms. FauxPrah got to rehab, but she say... O.k. you get it. It is made in the USA, pet friendly (leaping bunny certified) and in a recyclable container. It has also been certified by the American Dental Association.
Cons:
So what do I not like about it? Not much. Granted Ms. FauxPrah do like a minty clean feeling mouth when she brushes (like strong), but again this is the exact reason I bought it - to get away from the alcohol. I would say probably the greatest drawback is that it isn't that portable. The cap is very easy to pop off causing spills. Not really a problem if you have it on your sink, but a bit of a headache for on the go. That clear cap that you see above is barely held on. Easily popped off.
Ms. FauxPrah found hers the easiest at WALGREENS you can also find their products at the following locations. All retailing at apprximately $4-$7 each depending on the product.
So get those teef looking good and smellin' fresh. Gots no time for dragons, unless that is some sexy boy of the same name.

Your life hacks and content are great, but your appropriation of elements of African American Vernacular English on this blog is problematic. You are probably not aware of the reasons why, and it would be a good idea for you to research this, especially as your blog gains in popularity. No matter your intentions, using language in this way can be damaging to people of color. This article is a good place to start:

The way you wrote your about me reads so much more authentically than your posts. Why not just write in your own voice? It's honest and compelling and will allow your strong content to speak for itself.
Hi Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteSorry I just saw this, but I want to share with you a blog that will hopefully clear up any perceived notions of who I am or why I am doing this. This is from my vernacular of life and nothing else. No offense meant to anyone as this blog is written from a place of love and based on people I know and dearly love. Any imitation of anything is strictly from my heart and the story of my life.
I appreciate your comments, but I will continue to write in my voice which is yes a very fun character from some very strong women who consistently and continuously guide me through life each and every day.
Much love to you.
