HIT OR MISS?
Diorskin Nude Air
So as Ms. FauxPrah always say, sometimes you should spend that little extra on quality product. Have I mentioned Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick? Oh I have? Excuse Ms. FauxPrah. No, don't excuse me. It is a triumph. I will shout it from the moutain tops. It. Is. The. BEST!!!
So, I will give the disclaimer that I bought this next product based solely on the hype and as my good pal Chuck D always say...
The following was taken directly from Dior's website:
Born of the creative energy and expertise found Backstage, the radiant Dior complexion is a unique signature for the skin, a mark of sublime glamor. Each woman can recreate a flawless runway-ready complexion with custom looks from nude ready-to-wear to sophisticated haute couture.
Now I will take some of this blame because I didn't read the product info very well and this is a medium to full coverage formula and Ms. FauxPrah do prefer a light to medium coverage foundation if she to wear one at all.
HUMBLEBRAG (but also the truth): Ms. FauxPrah have pretty good skin for her age. I don't need a lot of coverage as my skin is pretty uniform. I have a single sunspot, some freckles if I get in the sun (usually they aren't there) and a mild red discoloration due to a fine night of projectile vomiting. Please comment below if you want to hear that story. I suspect that you won't.

| Ms. FauxPrah, not feeling well. |
This formula, even with a good moisturizer, just sits on your face. It makes my complexion actually look worse than if I had no make up on at all. Definitely feels like full coverage, but again I will give this to them because I don't like medium coverage even. This feels like paint to me.
Now I will say this formula may work well for someone with oily skin. If you are looking even for good coverage, perhaps this is your guy, however I will even say then that there are likely better options.
So FauxPrah do declare Diorskin's Nude Air Foundation to be a miss. At $50 a definite miss. There are drug store formulas that are definitely better. Sad, because I truly do love a great deal of Dior products. Can't win 'em all. As a reminder in those situations though...
And that is about all we can hope for.
