There will be a product review up very soon, but for now please indulge Ms. FauxPrah and her mission.
I wanted to address this upfront as the blog has taken off like wildfire and has been for extremely large part accepted, but there has been a single comment and a suggestion from a friend that I very much appreciate and I felt warranted clearing up/making sure that anyone understands. I don't live in fear of what I say because I know that what I say is never said out of anything but love, how it is heard I cannot control and I won't even try. It is futile.
I want to be very clear that Ms. FauxPrah is written as a character. That character is called, "bad ass woman."

| (Badass Women) Is this you Ms FauxPrah? The answer is, "YES!" |
There is never any intent for her to offend anyone or to speak ill toward any race, gender, sexual orientation or religious views including Ms. Oprah Winfrey who is an inspiration, but is also just one of the things that I'm very protective about. Sure I may joke about Oprah giving away cars, but really... she had the means to give away cars. My joke is about the absurdity of the ability to be able to do that rather than the person doing it. My friend brought that up. So making it very clear, nothing but love for Ms. Winfrey.
I want to also address a comment of potentially Ms. FauxPrah's racial background or potential assumptions. My answer to this is that Ms. FauxPrah is every woman, every race, every religion, every sexual preference, every struggle.
FauxPrah is created out of love. Two parts my grandmothers, one partMs.Oprah Winfrey, the essence and resilience of women, my life story (which is in no way charmed and easy) and my absolute adoration for the realness of drag queens. At no point did I think, she's white or Asian or black or any other race that we seem these days to loop people into
The main characterization of FauxPrah is actually my two deceased grandmothers. Both very gentile southern women who had a very distinct way of speaking. One very abrupt and the other like she just is so just very verklempt and has a bit of the vapors at all times. She used to always say, "child, I swarn, I swarn," when she would get frustrated. In regular English that translates to, "kid I swear to death if you don't stop working my last nerve..." To this day I have these women offering me advice in my head at all times. I think Tyler Perry may have used my granny to portray Madea. I'm just sayin'
The other main characterizations are of Ms. Oprah Winfrey who I believe to be quite an inspirational woman. I for one believe she deserves everything that she has ever accomplished like I do all women. I also truly believe in her mission to build women up. My spin on this character is that simply, I am not her. I have not accomplished what Oprah has accomplished. I don't begrudge her any of her successes, but there is a reason there is a phrase in this country for financial stability called, "the 1%." Miss Oprah can absolutely offer her life's dialogue and I honestly do not believe she would begrudge me mine.

| Ms. Bianca Del Rio as Adore Delano "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." |
I also present to everyone the longtime thought that, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." I work in the entertainment industry, primarily comedy and improv. Those things that are consistently imitated the most and with care is that of those people or situations that have touched those performers lives.

The biggest issue in communication today is a lack of it. If we live in fear of speaking to one another then we are never going to move on as a species.
I asked that you take a moment to notice that I wrote the words, "inspired and respectful." Nowhere in the meaning of those words is there anything negative. These are the women that speak to me every day of my life. My only hope is that I give back the same. I assure you and anyone that may ever read this blog that it is written from a place of gratefulness and love and in that respect I will never have anything to ever apologize about and nor defend. It is spoken from the vernacular of my life which is ever evolving. What I can't do is be responsible for whatever repressed feelings towards basic human rights that anyone else has. To everyone all I wish is for life, happiness and love.
I remain grateful for you all and remind everyone to just keep laughing and loving. None of the other emotions in this world are all that fun. And that is what FauxPrah is intending to do. I will respond no more to people's thoughts of my, "intentions." I have presented them to everyone. I am done. I likely will from now on just reference people to this blog. This is my truth. I don't intend on spending more time with anything but my truth.
