Coconut Challenge: Hair - UPDATE
Also... A Bit of Skin & BLOOD!
First and foremost: Coconut Oil as a moisturizer is brilliant. My face is soooooooo soft right now.
Pores look better and tighter. The few small breakouts I had even are smaller. I won't cop to the breakout thing unless FauxPrah have a big ol' gusher on her face. Typically my breakouts are small. So who knows if it was the coconut oil or just my body chemistry. The pores undoubtedly was the coconut oil so I am imagining it definitely played a role. As for the scissors that I jammed into the tip of my finger yesterday, that cut is almost gone already. If it is any indication, that thing was bleeding for a while when I did it. So it was not any little thing.

Planning on trying the coconut oil in the old hot tea later to see if it gives me an energy boost, but right now FauxPrah gots a big ol' glass of iced tea. Unsweetened if your nasty. Don't let that get out, they'll take FauxPrah's southern card away from her.

| I didn't want to caption this, but who knows who knows who Ice T is anymore. FauxPrah trying to be funny. She'll stop. |
So anyway TP a.k.a. T. Pain (not T. Pain, but she might as well be) convinced me to slather the coconut oil into this super duper fine hair of mine. I expect a catastrophe. She however noted with her really, really curly hair that it makes it softer, more manageable and helps her itchy scalp.

| NEVER FORGET |
Now before giving the result I will note the following:
1. Thoroughly coat your dry hair and scalp. You might want to do this in the tub because until it melts coconut oil is in solid form (think chunky Crisco) and it could go everywhere.
2. Let the Coconut Oil soak in.
3. Wash with your favorite Shampoo and Conditioner as you normal would. I used Biolage.
Now I let my hair air dry last night which would likely cause the potion to be extremely greasy in the morning. A hair dryer would likely dry it out bit more, but no. My hair was perfectly soft and manageable. Not greasy at all.
Now this is not something FauxPrah will do on the daily, but it is a really nice hair treat from time to time.
At any rate, keep checking back for the Coconut Challenge. Other than the mini challenge during my work day today, tonight I plan to keep on the teeth brushing, shave my legs and use it as a deodorant.!!!
