What does Ms. Faux think?

So I sampled this product after having washed my hair with my favorite Frederic Fekkai shampoo and conditioner because I know those products leave my hair at its best much like BB Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner.  I did this because I wanted to know what this product did to my hair at its best and I have to say it did make it more manageable without weighing it down.

Ms, Faux as you may know has a lot of very fine hair.  My biggest issue is volume and flyaways.  This as I mentioned managed the flyaways while giving great volume.  I reminds me a lot of The Living Proof's Perfect Hair Day 5 in 1 styling treatment.

The only issue I had was the $28 price tag, however it isn't too much more than most really good hair products.  I was just shocked as I had never hear of this brand.  Otherwise I think it was pretty good.

2.  Belif The True Cream -Aqua Bomb $38 for 1.68 oz. at Sephora.com

What is it?  According to the Sephora website...

What it is:
A gel-cream that 'floods' the skin with a rush of refreshing hydration and minimizes the appearance of pores for soft, smooth, supple skin for normal to combination skin types, including oily skin, and dry skin types looking for a lightweight moisturizer.

What it is formulated to do:
Aqua Bomb is an ultra-lightweight, mineral oil-free gel-cream that instantly cools and refreshes skin while providing intensive hydration. This formula contains a blend of apothecary herbs, including antioxidant-rich lady's mantle, which helps neutralize skin-damaging free radicals, improves skin elasticity, and minimizes the appearances of pores. This refreshing cream is formulated to 'burst' when applied, releasing a flood of weightless moisture onto skin, and then absorb completely for a healthy, smooth, supple appearance.

What does Ms. Faux think?

I like it.  It is certainly light weight and most recently Ms. Faux has been dealing with some dry skin due to the changing of the season and perhaps because she hasn't taken the best care of her skin.  Due to the dry skin I have seen tiny breakouts.  This is typically the type of breakouts I experience is due to the dry skin, but at the same time you don't want something to heavy on your face.  This is perfect.

My face is soft, supple and not oily at all.  My dry skin is at bay and all seems perfectly balanced.  Everyone's happy.  Little pricey, but skincare is the one place that I will never hesitate to splurge.

3. Supergoop Forever Young Handcream $12-$34 at Supergoop.com

• Potent plant antioxidants boost thickness and density of skin while improving elasticity and smoothness
• Meadowfoam & argan oil nourish and moisturize skin without being too heavy or greasy
Who This Is Ideal For
This hydrating lotion is ideal for all skin types, especially those with dry, dehydrated or aged hands.
What does Ms. Faux think?

I love the idea of this and the product.  Ms. Faux has always wanted a good SPF handcream for her car because well she drives and the hands are likely the most exposed part of the body when you are driving.  I don't want to use sunscreen because it is typically too sticky and then along comes this cream.  Perfect.  Not sticky.  Absorbs quickly.  Perfection.

I don't even mind the price tag because I think it is completely worth it to protect your hands from the sun's damaging rays.

#4.  Orgins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream $30 for .5oz. on Sephora.com

What it is formulated to do:
Late night? Long flight? Look tired all the time? This natural, clinically-proven morning-after eye cream instantly reduces dark circles. Unsightly bags and puffiness virtually disappear. And Origins' proprietary complex of caffeine from coffee bean, Panax ginseng, magnolia extract, and natural optic brighteners rapidly wakes up, refreshes, and restores radiance to tired eyes. Their longstanding commitment to protect the planet, its resources, and all those who populate it is reaffirmed by earth- and animal-friendly practices.

Research results:

What does Ms. Faux think?

Ms. Faux doesn't really struggle with dark circles, however she can appreciate a product that depuffs and doesn't irritate her eyes as they are extremely sensitive.  I love that this is also made with natural products and I swear you could feel the difference once applied.  I would definitely buy this product because as I said, I have had issues finding good moisturizers for the delicate eye area that works.  This works and is amazing.

#5.  Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel $48 for 1.7 oz. at ULTA.com

What is it?  According to Ulta.com...

Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel removes large amounts of excess, dead epidermal cells in seconds. As the synergistic blend of ingredients is gently massaged into the skin, solids form under the fingertips. These are a combination of the peel's protein-binding ingredients and epidermal protein.

99.5% of consumers who tested the product and have experience with dermabrasion and acid peels, reported that the Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel was as effective or more effective, but did not irritate the skin like other methods. This protein peel leaves the skin velvety soft and resurfaced after just one use. Resurfacing is recommended at least once per week for most skin types.

This is not a mask. Cleanse skin and leave slightly damp. Spread gel thinly and quickly over your forehead, cheeks, chin, neck, and décolleté. Quickly begin massaging these areas in a circular motion with slightly damp hands using light to moderate pressure. After 15-20 seconds, solids should form under the fingertips. This means the peel is activating correctly as the gel is now combining with your dead skin (proteins). Massage for 2-3 minutes or until all of the gel has combined with dead skin. Cleanse area again. To save time, try using the peel in the shower! Just pat your face and hands mostly dry and the use the peel as directed. Upon completion, turn back to the shower head to rinse. The water pressure will also assist with removal of the tiny solids from fine facial hair.

What does Ms. Faux think?

I.  LOVE.  IT!!!  As I have mentioned I have had dead skin issues primarily on my jaw area and it is causing a bit of a breakout.  I put this on today as I took a bath and almost instantly the dead skin started to peel away leaving me with fresh clean and exfoliated skin.

This was my favorite of all of the samples I chose today and it reminds me a lot of the Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel which I think works just as well.  My only recommendation is to try this at a time where you are not required to get ready or put on any make up after.  It would be heavenly to allow the skin to breathe.  Also this is definitely a once a week treatment.

So there it is...  All of Ms. Faux's favorite samples this Saturday.

Have you tried any of these products?
