What the hell is Ms. Faux Up To Again? What the hell is a Fauxshold Tip? It is a Faux approved household tip. I told ya'll I'm diversifying. There are only so many cosmetics after all.
Today's Fauxshold Tip is an all natural air freshener. Why? Because Ms. Faux has a cat and he is always gnawing on everything. Also Ms. Faux has trouble with some synthetic scents so she has created ways around it. Also, "why for ya'll want to be inhaling all those chemicals?" That's what I thought. So here you go, in 4 simple steps.
1. Get a spray bottle. Ms. Faux prefers this Glass Spray Bottle $11.98 From Sally's Organics on Amazon.com, but any clean spray bottle will do. You can even upcycle with a used bottle from perhaps a used cleaning product. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
2. Get 1 TBSP of Baking Soda and put in the bottle.
Why Purification? It is so therapeutically good for you. According to YoungLiving.com...
Purification® Essential Oil Blend helps freshen the air and eliminate odors with its unique combination of Citronella, Lemongrass, Lavandin, Rosemary, Tea Tree, and Myrtle essential oils, and includes naturally occurring compounds cineol, neral, and geranial.
Also according to Young Living Purification is great for the following applications:
Product Tips
- Add Purification essential oil blend to your washing machine to freshen laundry.
- Add a couple drops of Purification essential oil blend to shoes to help neutralize odors.
- Add a few drops of Purification essential oil blend to a cotton ball to help eliminate stale air in the office or your child’s room.
- Diffuse Purification essential oil blend to dispel unpleasant odors and clear the air of impurities.
- Diffuse Purification essential oil blend to eliminate odors after the dog returns from playing outdoors in the rain.
Ms. Faux loves it and keeps it in her arsenal at all times.
4. Distilled Water. Why Distilled? Because if you are using this on fabrics it will not leave residue like tap water can possibly do so due to the potential of being hard water.
Add all ingredients to your spray bottle and shake. As a matter of fact before each time you use this spray you shake it.
I have found this to freshen the air and fabrics. Speaking of fabrics and other surfaces, I have found with light application it is safe for most, however you want to make sure of color fastness.
So there you go. Keep your house fresh and fabulous.
