So Ms. Faux has a new favorite thing and you know when that happens she simply must share.  So here we go...

What is it?  According to Sephora.com...

What it is:
An ultralightweight powder that minimizes pores and reduces shine. 

What it does:
Get smooth, fresh-faced skin with this shine-control powder that instantly mattifies the complexion. The built-in brush applicator makes this the ideal purse companion for touch-ups on the go.

What does Ms. Faux think?

I love it, but not just for the product but also the packaging and let me explain all of it!!!  Eeek!!!

It is hard not to love a product that has put this much thought into the packaging.  For one it is super duper compact.  Next it has a small brush that screws into the bottom of the packaging.    After that it has a secure screw cap at the top and if that wasn't the best you also unscrew it slightly to allow product out of the three holes in the top like a spice.

Pour just what you need into the cap and brush away oil on your face.  Now just how well does it perform for shine control???  Well Ms. Faux only has slight oily skin on her T Zone.  This is perfect for those quick touch ups and does the trick.  I found my skin to look more mattified and more like when I started off in the morning.

I am not sure I will use this in the morning as I love my MAC Prep & Prime Transparent Finishing Powder $26 at maccosmetics..com, but it is perfect for touch ups on the go.  Based on the packaging that is why I think it was created.  Oh... and on account that the way they market it is, on the go.

I did find my pores were minimized and it prolonged the look of my make-up.  Let's be real, it also prolonged the look of Ms. Faux's plain old face because you know she don't be wearing make-up every day.

So there it is.  Another of Faux's favorite things.
