Faux Yoga Faves
If you would have told 2 or 3 years ago FauxPrah that she would be a yoga nut, she would have told you that you've lost your damn mind. How could that help. I ran track, played basketball, did body building for God's sake. I can't just sit in a room and stretch? How little I knew.
I was introduced to yoga during a particularly hard time in my life by my former roommate Tara or as I like to call here Tare Bear.
Anyway... it has helped as much physically (you will find muscles you didn't know you had) as it does mentally (it helps to center your thoughts). That being said there are some items that help make it a little more palatable.

What does Ms. Faux think?
I already sweat a lot, but more than that I love hot yoga so by the end of the class it is like a monsoon has hit.
This stuff helps to keep all my yoga pants, tops, bras, towels, etc... smelling fresh and not musty. Even a few day old items smell immediately better and have less funk.

What does Ms. Faux think?
These are heavenly. They are snug, lightweight, breathable, and gathered at the knee and have a tummy tucking effect at the stomach as to create a beautiful female silhouette. They look amazing and like they are not going anywhere when you are are in your flow. That is very important. I have all sorts of yoga pants and two pairs of these. I find myself reaching for these first each and every time.

In hot yoga you could just as easily use a regular towel on your mat, I however like these because they not only grip your mat (therefore less sliding), they also are cut to fit your mat and dry more quickly than a regular towel. I also like that their texture is more smooth so gives for a better mat experience.

I love this mat. Much like the texture of towels, I like mine to have little to none. Most yoga mats do have a definitive texture, almost like a weave.

This mat is smooth with absolutely no ridges. That is great for a couple of reasons. I prefer the feel on my body, but also I like the fact that it is more easy to clean. It also works great in tandem with the grippy towels.

What does Ms. Faux think?
When I'm working out I don't like to stink, but I don't mind sweating. Also when I'm doing yoga, I don't like the idea of a non-organic deodorant clogging my pores. For some reason this moment to me is about sweating away the toxins. This deodorant fits the bill, utilizing essential oil blends to tame the stink. It comes in a variety of scents, however Ms. Faux do prefer the purple lavender one.
