November: 30 Days of Self Care

It is an interesting thought and one that Ms. Faux struggles with quite a bit.  It is in my nature and I think in most women's nature to take care of others before taking care of themselves.  I know I am certainly guilty of it and it has even caused me to be in not he healthiest of relationships with workplaces, romantic encounters and people I have considered friends.

This recently has been brought up to me and I know the hardest thing I struggle with is actually carrying through with these types of necessary self care endeavors.  I will do anything and everything to procrastinate the taking care of myself when it comes to satisfying others.  That stops now.

So starting as of November 1 (TODAY!!!) I am going to be embarking on 30 days of self care.  It could include something as simple as pampering myself at night, to saying no to something that is infringing upon my time with no reward, to what I'm doing today and that is a trip to King Spa to soak in some relaxation and a little detoxification.  

I love King Spa for many reasons.  It is detoxifying, relaxing and most importantly causes me to fall off the grid if only for a few hours.  The perfect place for Ms. Faux to start this lovely 30 days of self care.
