So hence another segment Ms. FauxPrah plans to add, the Sunday night pampering session. That is what it will be called for now. I know I can do something more clever. If you have a suggestion, please write it in the comments below.
So there are certain things Ms. FauxPrah must have in a bathroom to fully enjoy herself. First, a clean tub is a must and Ms. FauxPrah know plenty about that having managed buildings for some 15 years. Her number one product for the perfect clean bath? Tilex! I spray it on once or twice a week to keep the caulk lookin' good and Ms. FauxPrah feelin' good about the level of germs. It is also can be used for the whole bathroom.

Next Ms. FauxPrah needs some ambiance and you know in my Fauxs other line of work in entertainment production she do know a thing or two about that as well. Now there are several bells and whistles in Ms. FauxPrah's bathroom that she will probably divulge over time but for now I'm just going to mention my favorite two.
#1 are these beautiful lighted branches. Ms. FauxPrah found them at her favorite neighborhood nursery, Gethsemane Garden Center, years ago in a sidewalk sale. I don't think they really carry them anymore, but here is a place where I have found them online. It is the Illuminated Garden. @ www.illuminatedgarden.com. It just provides a lovely touch of ambiance and decadence to Ms. FauxPrah's beloved bath.

Ms. FauxPrah's other lighting must is this gorgeous light. Now you must realize that Ms. FauxPrah fell upon the sword for her readers as she went on a search for what this light is called. Ms. FauxPrah, a credit card within reach and looking at lighting. Very dangerous. But it is called a Kaleidescope Light and during the October to December holidays you can find it at Home Depot for $20. It is called the LightShow Projection Kaleidoscope Light.
Ms. FauxPrah got her a clear one and painted it with some lighting gel paint. Gel Paint about $3 at Amazon.com in Amber. Amber light sounds kind of like a porn star, prostitute or stripper name to Ms. Faux, but it will do when you can't find sepia tone (which is a million times better). Also Ms. FauxPrah has heard of an amber stained glass Krylon spray paint product. If you know of where I can find, please let me know. Maybe they went the more prestigious "sepia" route. One can dream. At any route here is a video showing the effect.
Ms. FauxPrah do want to find a more pleasing way to put this effect in her bathroom just to be pretty and she will, but for now the effect can come out and go away as needed. Also since this is not available at the moment, here is another option Ms. FauxPrah found on Amazon.com. I will say I like this a bit less because the wave throw onto the walls isn't as much and is more on the ceiling, but it has bluetooth so who am I to complain. Just heavenly. Ms. FauxPrah paired this lovely light with her favorite playlist on her iPod which she do call the Van Morrison mix. And it is just as it sounds. Lovely, soulful and noodle guitar with a raspy singer. Tonight Ms. FauxPrah got through the following songs.
1. Into the Mystic - Van Morrison
2. Seeing Things For The First Time - Black Crowes
3. The Wind - Cat Stevens
4. Memory Motel - Rolling Stones
5. Since I've Been Lovin' You - Led Zeppelin
6. Yellow Ledbetter - Pearl Jam
7. Can't You See - Marshall Tucker Band

Ms. FauxPrah do admit to have a longtime dirty hippy crush on none other than Mr. Chris Robinson, but the song, "Seeing Things For The First Time," is a very important song for Ms. FauxPrah because only recently has she starting seeing people for who they truly are. It is an awakening experience and shockingly does not create hate, but rather love and respect for those that really do care for you. For those that don't... the lyrics speak themselves.
I used to dream
Of better days that never came
Sorry ain't nothin' to me
I'm gone and that's the way it must be
So please I've done my time
Lovin' you is such a crime
You won't fine me down on, on my knees
Won't fine me over backwards baby
Just to please
Of better days that never came
Sorry ain't nothin' to me
I'm gone and that's the way it must be
So please I've done my time
Lovin' you is such a crime
You won't fine me down on, on my knees
Won't fine me over backwards baby
Just to please
If you want to do yourself a real favor, listen to the live version. Holy hell Mr. Robinson in my opinion is right up there with Otis Redding on how to milk every ounce of soul out of a song.

Next Ms. FauxPrah used a lovely hostess gift given to her from herood friends Ms. Becki and Ms. Barbara. It was the Village Naturals Therapy Stress & Tension Relief. I mean... how well do they know Ms. FauxPrah? A plenty. I do't think I have ever bought this scent, but your friends do know what is best for you and this was a delight. It was heavenly scented with juniper, orange and menthol. Not at all the more medicinal scents Ms. FauxPrah often utilizes and it did just what it said. Relieve tension and stress.

I've seen this at Walgreens for $5-$6, but I'm pretty sure you can find it at other places like Target, Amazon, etc... Let me tell you folks, it was a delight.
Now Ms. FauxPrah could not tell you which of her many bath gels she used tonight, but I can tell you I treated my scalp and hair to some Fekkai Hair Products. Tonight she used the PRX Reparatives Shampoo $30. The vanilla scented shampoo helps to prevent future breakage, strengthening hair with argan extract. It is also a winner of 2014 "Best Of" Allure Beauty Award. It was delightful and Ms. FauxPrah's Scalp felt clean as a whistle.
As to not weigh Ms. FauxPrah's super fine hair down I finished with Fekkai's Full Blown Volume Lightweight Foam Conditioner $20. It was gorgeously scented with citrus and mint and did just what it promised. Very hydrating without weighing down your hair. A must for those with fine hair.
Now Ms. Fauxprah finished her bath with some other products I will get into at a later time as they are ones I use all the time, but after she dried off she treated herself with a little spritz of Indigo Wild ZUM Mist Aromatherapy Spray in Sea Salt $11.95 all over her body. It was a delicious spa like treat.

Again Ms. FauxPrah moisturized but couldn't tell you with what but otherwise has been misting her face all night with Reviva Labs Rosewater Facial Spray for Normal to Dry Skin.

While it is referred to as a "facial spray," this can be used on both your skin and hair. Ms. FauxPrah has found that it is perfect as a nighttime spray before moisturizing. Because remember hunties, a hydrated face helps to absorb more moisture. It also is perfect to set make up and for athletes for a quick facial clean up.
So there it be. Ms. FauxPrah done did spoil herself a bit tonight.
How do you spoil yourself?
Have you tried any of these products?
