Ms. Faux Is Feelin' Dizzy & Butterflies for Her New BeautyBlender Holder

So Ms. Faux just had an interesting past 24 hours and it has left her dizzy and silly and feeling like a teenager so what better time to show you my new favorite beauty/non-beauty tool that has Ms. Faux feeling a little impish and spritelike right now.  You know... like a teenager.

Forest Sprite
So this ain't no friendship bracelet and pegging your pants extravaganza, but just the most recent thing that I got for my dressing table that gets Ms. Faux in her dizzy state like all those dumb and cute boys.

So my new favorite thing is just so simple.  It is playful and lovely so I just have to mention it.  It is my new BeautyBlender holder.  As you know Ms. Faux loves her beauty blender and thinks everyone should have one.

BeautyBlender Love
The problem is that once you mist them with water they do need to dry out until the next use.  BeautyBlender does sell what they call a Bling Ring that assists with this.

Beauty Blender Bling Ring $29 at BeautyBlender.com
The only thing is that I find it a little tacky.  Challenge to BeautyBlender.  How about a little more modern or elegant one.  So I started looking for alternatives.  Some of the ideas I founds were napkin rings, shot glasses and egg cups that could give you the best options.

Napkin rings as you can see can be a bit tricky as you have to find circular ones for it to work best and hold your blender correctly.  They cannot be shallow and most napkin rings are made to lay the opposite way that you would use them for your beauty blender.

Then I looked into shot glasses.  They work well and there is a wide array from silly to elegant.  I actually looked into the skull and mustache ones as options because I think they are just baddass.  I added the camera lens to show how diverse the shot glass could be and I almost went with the Napoleon Bee shot glass because it is beautiful and elegant.

Then I looked into egg holders and found a JACKPOT!  They are perfect for the BeautyBlender as it looks like an egg.  Here are just a few idea of ones that I found.

Again like the shot glasses they can vary from silly (like the wire chicken legs and sumo varieties above), to delicate like the bird holder in the lower left and practical like the simple wire holder.  You can also find them as fine china and crystal if you really want to spend a dime.  So they can totally go more elegant.

But Ms. Faux simply could not have one like everyone else.  Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no.  So this is what she do.  She found this lovely milkglass egg cup called Humpty Dumpty Before The Fall on Amazon.com.

Don't worry searching for it, they are no longer in stock.  It was $7.50 and I think it is absolutely perfect for holding Ms. Faux's Beauty Blender.  Why do I even mention this if it is not readily available, because I think you could likely find antiques and things in thrift shops that would work just as well.  This lovely was less than a 1/3 of the price of the bling ring and has so much character and is just so Faux.

So that it it my lovelies.  I hope you all are having a lovely day like Ms. Faux, full of butterflies in your stomachs and dizziness in your brain.

Love & Peace,
Faux
