The Conditioner Kim Davis Needs & 30 Day No Sugar/Spending/Blogging Challenge

Day 2.  Blog 2.  And here we go...

No Spending:  Though I'm dying to get a new omelet pan after cooking in the one I have tonight, I held off.  Who knows.  Maybe I will decide I won't need it.

No Sugar:  Woke up with a headache.  Tried to treat with black coffee.  It somewhat did the job, but the dull headache is there all day.  For those that don't think sugar is a drug... this is called withdrawal.  I looked up other symptoms I can look forward to and someone described them as flu-like.  I've experienced that so far, but mostly with exhaustion, a headache and consistent hunger pains.  I've combated those with a smoothie this morning, hummus, carrots, and edamame for lunch and an omelet for dinner.  Probably the most protein I've had in a while being a vegetarian.  Shockingly, or maybe not so much... I feel better after having eaten the egg.  Perhaps eggs are like methadone.  We'll see.  Yesterday it was almonds.

Kim Davis you say?  Well I'm sure some of you are watching this debacle in Kentucky in the US involving Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis and her refusing to give gay marriage licenses.  Right?  Seriously... is this still a thing?  Apparently.  Also if you want a hilarious (and warning: with language that is offensive to some) take on this whole debacle I urge you to take to Twitter and follow Sitnexto Kim Davis (@nexttokimdavis).

It is brilliant.  It is a way to laugh at this whole thing because don't we really need to.  It's absurd.  Anyway... I digress.

Now for Ms. Faux's take.  Oooooooooh gurl.... you sho do need some moisture up in that mane of yours.  Well actually you need a lot of things, but lets start slow.  I have just the thing for her.

Now have you heard one person's trash is another person's treasure.  Clearly Ms. Davis has based on that ridiculous get up she is wearing, however I will say this is actually a product that I just finished using.  I bought it back in the winter when my hair was dryer, but as a fine haired freak, it do take a while for me to get through it because it is a little too heavy.  It is L'Oreal's Total Repair 5, Damage Erasing Balm ($6 at Target.com).

It's claim:  Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm is a rinse-out reconstructing balm that repairs up to one year of damage in 1 use.  Both powerful and luxurious, the balm instantly repairs the 5 signs of damage – split ends, weakness, roughness, dullness, and dehydration.  Reverses damage to hair's smoothness with daily use, when using the system of shampoo & balm.  Our system of advanced treatment with Ceramide helps seal broken fibers.  For damaged, overworked hair.  Clincally tested for instant results, lasting transformation

What does Ms. Faux think:  It is a very good treatment conditioner.  My good friend Tara used it on her more coarse and curly hair and it worked like a charm.  Softened the hair and did what it says.  On Ms. Faux's fine however, it is a bit heavy for regular use, but is a nice treatment after color treating.

Will I purchase again?  Probably not, but only because it was kinda big and took a while to use.  Who knows though.  I may damage my hair and if so this is what I will reach for... or I will go slather it all over Kim Davis's hair.  Damn she do need it.

So there we go.  Two days down and I'm better for it.  Tune in tomorrow as I give some more beauty tips to Kim Davis.  I mean... she don't know.  Clearly... SHE.  DON'T.  KNOW.

Have you tried L'Oreal's Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm?

What did you think?

Ms. Faux wants to know...

Also if ya'll love it please tell all of your friends and follow her on the following sites.  If you don't... tell your enemies and just sit back and laugh at how they were sent to my ramblings.  And remember... if you don't look good, then Ms. Faux be lookin' like a damn fool.
