First of all thanks to my move I realize I have an ungodly amount of product so instead of buying new I'm going to review some standards that I have bought along the way and a few that I have finished. As a matter of fact in September I'm only allowed to by groceries to nourish my body. Nothing else unless prescribed by a doctor.
Second, in hopes of helping with inflammation that I'm dealing with in my feet since abusing them in Italy I plan to start a 30 day no sugar challenge and not go to jail in the process.
Third, I'm planning to blog daily. That is a promise. I went away and now Faux's back so here we go.
Day 1 No Sugar: So far so good. Minor headache. Almonds have become my friend and are a great confuser for the old stomach and brain. I did make the mistake of waiting too long to eat and got home tonight and had smoked mozzarella, tomatoes, hummus, carrots & almonds. I will keep the almonds by my bead. Washing it all down with water with lemon. No one has died today. Not me and not at my hands during a sugar withdrawal.
No spending. I did buy a couple of things yesterday in anticipation of this so I will get a package from Sephora during September but technically bought on August 31st so I could get my VIP rouge birthday gift. For now though my new favorite shampoo and conditioner.

| Giovanni Smooth As Silk Shampoo & Conditioner www.giovannicosmetics.com |
Giovanni Shampoo and Conditioner is described as "Eco Chic Haircare." It was one of the first natural salon hair brands and is #1 in the US. I think I bought it on sale at Target because I needed shampoo. Didn't put a whole lot of thought into it. It regularly sells for under $8 each.
The funny thing about discovering this product during my move is that I had just gotten back from Italy and my friend MJ and I had an inside joke that practically everyone and everything in Italy had the name Giovanni.

| A picture from my trip. I think it translates Giovanni Street from Giovanni. Made me giggle. |
At any rate this shampoo and conditioner are wonderful. My hair had a nice, clean and slick feeling. As if wonderfully conditioned but without residue. Usually this is not something I have experienced with, "natural," products. Although I love the Aveda smell much more I would go so far as to say the product is much better.
Disclaimer: Does this work on curly or wavy hair as well? I do not know. Remember Ms. Faux has fine hair therefore I worry about things weighing me down. This shampoo and conditioner were perfection.
So there we go ladies and gents. Ms. Faux is back. See you tomorrow and I promise to share beauty stuff, pictures and the like from my fantastic Southern Italian getaway.
Peace and Love,
Ms. Faux
