First I'm going to start with something old, but new to me and that is Sally Hansen, "Dries Instantly Top Coat," $4.99 at ULTA.com.
Why do I love it. It does what it claims. It, "dries in 30 seconds!"
No swatches because it is clear, but believe it lives up to its hype. My Faux is terrible about waiting for her nails to fully dry and this cuts that time tremendously. It is my new favorite.
To keep the nail love rolling I have a new favorite every day color. Ms. Faux prefers a nudy pink for everyday wear. Nothing too bold so that it goes with everything I have to wear to work. I have searched high and low for these types of nudes and I think I just found a go to favorite. "Rimmel's Kate Salon Pro Nail Polish in 237 Soul Session," $2.99 at CVS.com.
I put this right up there with Essie's Mademoiselle and Ballet Slippers as a go to, perfection nude. Though a little darker with a beigy/taupe hue than those polishes. This is just an instantly perfect nude. Add that with a wider brush, created in coordination with Kate Moss and infused with Lycra which claims to be chip proof for 10 days and Rimmel has yet again another hit on its hands. At $2.99 you would be kind of dumb not to own this. :)
So there you go. If you see me in the near future my nails will likely be rocking this lovely hue.
