Spending: I fell off the wagon with some shoes. My current work shoes are causing tendonitis in my foot. My physical therapist buddy Tara told me. Technically it is a medical professional. This doesn't count right? I didn't think so either and I didn't want to have to go to the doctor so I improved my footwear. It was $20. I didn't break the bank. Yay me!!! I put the picture on here so I would feel less guilty, but I stand by my medical need when according to Tara, I SHOULDN'T BE STANDING AT ALL.
Sugar: Today has been pretty great. Smoothies in the morning are my jam and apparently eggs at night are the way to go. No headaches, just a lot of fatigue. That's about it. Oh... and lots of water and veggies being consumed. My body is in love with me right now. My energy level is not.
And now another product. I finished using it today and it is from The Face Shop which I found near the King Spa here in the suburbs of Chicago. It is Flebote Collagenic XP V Lifting Serum. I know you are thinking, what the hell is that, but I assure you - though it is difficult to find I did quite enjoy it. How hard to find? They don't even sell it on Amazon. Yikes. You can however go to thefaceshop.net and look for the closest store or you can also find it on jihostore.com.
What do it do?
- A lifting emulsion that restores skin elasticitywith moisturization and nourishment
- Restores elasticity
- Controls the breakdown of collagen with Collagen Tie Band made of an Argan seed extract. Skin resilience is restored and the skin becomes soft like baby’s
What did Ms. Faux think?
It did what it claimed and in the recent warm Chicago months, it was almost a little too heavy, but my skin looked radiant and well rested, even though I have been far from it. It has a very emollient, water-based texture but still caused a little bit of a breakout. That's on me though. I likely should not have been using something this heavy in the summer.
It is heavily perfumed if you don't like that sort of thing, but I tend to be o.k. with it. My skin definitely had a more moisturized texture. At roughly $32 it is a bit pricy but does work so well worth the dollas yo! So I'm giving it a thumbs up. Also I used all of it so definitely works.
