9.18.2015 Fab Five Friday

I feel like Ms. Faux is the Queen of apologies lately, but here I go again.  To be truthful lately it has been really hard to get motivated.  Don't know if it is the change in seasons or the fact that I'm still settling into my new place.  I feel like when I do that I take on a million things to try to force it and then get overwhelmed and fail on most if not all of them.  So there you go.  I finally decided to not place so many parameters on myself and believe it or not immediately got motivated again.

First - Spending challenge is no more.  I didn't fall hard, but fell off that wagon.  I however have continued to succeed with the sugar challenge and I've never felt better.

Ms. Faux deals very much with reflux and I have not really had an episode since giving up sugar.  It is encouraging as stomach health is a big concern for me.

In terms of blogging, well I have fallen short, but now I am again motivated so here we go.  Here it is hunties.  All the products that Ms. Faux used each mornting to keep grandma from scarring everyone.

What does Ms. Faux think?

I am in love.  This may be one of those products that I keep at all times in my purse.  It is that good.  The wax pencil is perfect for filling in missing brows and the powder is a great natural fill for the entire brow.  The packaging is perfect for every day or on the go.  I'm not sure exactly how long it will last as the packaging is pretty compact, but it is otherwise one of those perfect products.

L'Occitane Pivoine Flora Eau de Parfum $62 @ usa.loccitane.com
What is it?

According to L'Occitane: There is a Mediterranean legend of a beautiful nymph named Paeonia, who was so courted by the gods that a jealous goddess transformed her into a flower with a thousand petals – a peony. Since then, this symbol of beauty brightens every spring with its dazzling show of colors and scents.

The Pivoine Flora Eau de Parfum captures all the intensity of a heart of petals. A true elixir of femininity, this perfume blends the delicacy of peonies with the sensuality of magnolias, in a captivating floral fragrance marked with a woody trail.

The Pivoine Flora Eau de Parfum contains a peony extract harvested from the DrĂ´me region of southern France.

What does Ms. Faux think?

I forgot I had this perfume and was so happy when I re-discovered it.  For some reason I have been gravitating toward floral scents. and peony is one of my favorite flowers and scents.  I'm thinking it is perhaps because I know winter is coming and I'm trying to savor the last days of summer.  It is beautiful, light and womanly.  A very fresh and clean scent, I received compliments each day that I wore it.

L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara $9.99 at Ulta.com
What is it?

According to L'Oreal Telescopic® Original Mascara enhances your lashes with intense length and unique lash by lash separation. The flat side of the patented flexible Precision Brush lengthens lashes up to 60%, while the comb side of the brush precisely separates lashes for a clump-free result. Fragrance-free. Ophthalmologist-tested and allergy-tested. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

What did Ms. Faux think?

It does what it says.  I tried a couple different mascaras this week and this is the one that I fell in love with.  It really does separate each lash giving my tired eyes a more AWAKE look.  The color is gorgeous and I find this is definitely a go to mascara.

Big Sexy Hair Full Bloom $19.95 at Ulta.com
What is it?

Keeping a blowout fresh and full is not always a simple task! With Big Sexy Hair Full Bloom, you get up to 72 hours of fullness and 24 hours of fragrance revival. Go ahead, give your hair a little flip!

Spray on damp hair from roots to ends. Lift hair away from scalp while blow drying to lock in style.

What does Ms. Faux think?

Well as we all know Ms. Faux has very fine hair that was recently cut into a very cute shag.  The only thing is that by the end of the day my shag was looking a little flat.  Spray a bit of this at the roots before blow drying and BOOM!   My hair looked fantastic all day long.  It even worked into the next day.  That is pretty huge for me as I generally have to wash my hair each day.

What is it?

Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt Milk Bath transforms an ordinary bath into a moisturizing spa experience by combining real Milk Protein, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to help soften and improve skin's condition. Epsom Salt is known to revitalize tired, achy muscles and refresh skin's appearance.

What does Ms. Faux think?

This is the second week in a row that I'm using this.  First I love the very light scented milk & honey smell.  Second it feels so good on my super tired feet and knees.  Very affordable and a luxurious bath addition.

So there it is hunties.  All the products that kept Ms. Faux from looking a fright.

Have you tried any of these products?

What product to you use all the time?
