While Ms. Faux does believe in spending on those products that work, I do believe in saving on those that are as good or better for less. Yes I do believe the BeautyBlender at $20 is better than any of it's lesser costing counterparts, but I also believe there are bargains out there if you know where to look. This week my favorite is Absolute New York: You're the Balm, Lip Balm.

Why do I love this product? It has the consistency of Cult Favorite Smith's Rosebud Salve $6 at Ulta.com. So technically both of these products are under $7.
Now sure Rosebud Salve is a cult favorite and it also claims to help prevent lips from chapping, healing cuts, soothing cuticles, mosturizing elbows and knees, highlighting cheekbones, decolletage, tame frizzies and unruly eyebrows, but seriously I think you could use Absolute New York to do those things as well. At half the cost why not? Absolute New York also smells lovely and comes in an array of scents from strawberry, green apple and grape.
I mean... look at the consistency of the Absolute New York swatch. Perfection and yummy glossy goodness.
