Here it is. The first Fab 5 Friday in two months. First some check-ins.
Shopping: Still at it. Doing well.
Sugar: Pretty good. Today has been my best day. My stomach is feeling clean which is good because normally it is inflamed due to being a princess about everything I eat. I'm still doing it.
Now... the Top 5 products that kept Ms. Faux from looking and feeling like Kim Davis. Lets be real she must be dead on the inside to think the way she do, so clearly that doesn't feel good.
Love Wins!!!
1. Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant. $5.49 at www.target.com
What is it?

What do Ms. Faux think?
I am in love. Ms. Faux do like to sweat and this does the trick. It smells wonderful and dries quickly just as it says. Protects very well throughout the day and is my new favorite part of my morning routine.
2. L'Occitane Piovoine Flora Beauty Milk $27 at usa.loccitane.com
What is it?
Enriched with shea butter, this body milk moisturizes and softens the skin.
Its fluid and light texture quickly penetrates the skin and leaves behind a green floral scent inspired by a blooming peony.
Contains a peony extract from Drôme (France).
What does Ms. Faux think?
Ooooooooh honey child! Ms Faux is done gone and fallen in love. First of all peony is one of my favorite scents and definitely my favorite flower. Also I do love the beautiful pink flower and packaging. L'Occitane has a new convert. Even better... this is an entire line. Check out their entire Piovine Flora Line HERE.
Now... I will admit that I thought this was a bath product at first. Ms. Faux is a fool. I admit it. I will just say even with washing it off, it left a lovely scent to my skin. When you use it as a moisturizer it is 10 times better. This may definitely be a NEW FAUX FAVORITE.
3. Flebote Collagenic XP Lifting Serum from TheFaceShop
What is it?
- A lifting emulsion that restores skin elasticitywith moisturization and nourishment
- Restores elasticity
- Controls the breakdown of collagen with Collagen Tie Band made of an Argan seed extract. Skin resilience is restored and the skin becomes soft like baby’s
What did Ms. Faux think?
It did what it claimed and in the recent warm Chicago months, it was almost a little too heavy, but my skin looked radiant and well rested, even though I have been far from it. It has a very emollient, water-based texture but still caused a little bit of a breakout. That's on me though. I likely should not have been using something this heavy in the summer.
It is heavily perfumed if you don't like that sort of thing, but I tend to be o.k. with it. My skin definitely had a more moisturized texture. At roughly $32 it is a bit pricy but does work so well worth the dollas yo! So I'm giving it a thumbs up. Also I used all of it so definitely works.
4. Oribe Balm d'Or $41 at amazon.com
What is it?
Shields fragile strands from thermal damage. Leaves hair looking ultra-sleek and shiny. Fights frizz, flyaways and wiry greys. Makes hair easier to style and manage. Age-defying formula restores hairs strength and density. Dermatologist tested. Formulated without parabens, sulfates or sodium chloride. Color and keratin treatment safe. UV protection for hair. Vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free.
What does Ms. Faux think?
While I still adore my Matrix Oil Wonders Color Caring Oil better for what it does for my hair an the speed in drying, nothing and I mean NOTHING beats the smell of Oribe products. I do feel this product is best used the summer for my hair as it is lighter and had pretty much done everything it says it will. Another plus for Matrix over this product is that Oribe is twice as expensive as Matrix, but again... Oribe is a luxury product and is just delicious. I highly recommend.
5. Roller Ball Massage Glove $10 from amazon.com
What is it?
Palm Shaped Body Massager Ball Roller Feels AMAZING Stress Relief This palm shaped body massager is a great solution for the tense, or those who just simply want to relax. This product comes equipped with nine (9) 360` rollers, allowing you to massage just about anywhere.
What do Ms. Faux think?
Well Ms. Faux has a real tight IT Band due to running and has had trouble finding a massage tool that is a trigger point for the band. This gets in there like nothing else I have. It can take a tight band from extreme pain to tolerable really quick. Runners... I highly recommend.
And there it is. My favorite 5 things. Oooooh but here is a bonus. I mentioned it earlier this week, but if you haven't checked out the thing that has made Ms. Faux laugh like an idiot for days please do. It is a Twitter called @nexttokimdavis.
It is a twitter parody based around the lady who has unfortunately been next to Kim Davis in all of her hatred footage. The twitter handle has received praise from press around the nation as well as Dan Savage, Margaret Cho, George Takei, Perez Hilton and countless other outlets. At (currently) almost 77,000 followers in about 3 days - this is an absolute must read. Warning... it does contain some pretty salacious language, but oh dear lord it is hilarious.
So there you go. Ms. Faux sure has missed the Fab Five and I hope all of you enjoy its return.
Peace and Love Hunties!!!
