Fab Five Friday!!!
Here it is, the products Ms. Faux used in order to not scare the children. And regardless of what my last one said it is not just full of vicodin, though that was used in mass quantities this week as Ms. Faux recovers from falling down the stairs last Friday
What is it?
Made with angelica from the DrĂ´me region of France, the fresh and silky smooth Angelica Hydration Cream efficiently moisturizes and revitalizes the skin. L'OCCITANE’s patented angelica complex reinforces natural skin hydration by helping improve skin tone and protect skin from impurities. Skin looks plumped, smoothed and more radiant. Best for dry to normal skin. Even better it comes with a full line of Angelica products.
What does Ms. Faux think?
I love it. It has a very herbal scent which Ms. Faux quite prefers to heavily perfumed moisturizers. It also is the perfect Spring creme. Not too thick for those warmer spring days and works perfectly on the cooler days as well. I think this is a great transition creme to put the moisture back in ya skins ya'll. Ms. Faux also used the toner and facial wash and they are just as herbally and lovely.
Also while this product is a little salty, I do feel if you are gonna dole out the dollas do so in skin care. That is your most basic of foundation as it is the foundation for your make up.
What is it?
Look flawless in any light with Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect™ Makeup. The makeup features a light filtering technology that delivers a poreless, airbrushed look. The Soft Focus pigments in the makeup create a flawless and luminous complexion. The Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect™ Makeup protects with SPF 20 and provides Medium to Full Coverage.
What does Ms. Faux think?
Paired with the above moisturizer this, "just a dab will do ya," foundation is perfect for a no make up make up look. Great coverage that doesn't feel or look heavy, especially when paired with a good moisturizer. A lot of make up bloggers have considered this a great dupe for Armani's foundation. While Ms. Faux hasn't tried she will say that it is as good as any of her higher end products with exception of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.
What is it?
An all-in-one professional mascara that lengthens, defines and volumizes lashes. The uniquely shaped, multipurpose silicone brush has precision bristles to coat every lash for a dramatic look. The maximum performance, long-lasting formula gives all day smudge-free, budge-free wear for gorgeous lashes.
What does Ms. Faux think?
While I think the formula is great I think the power of this mascara comes in that perfect tip. Ya'll know what I mean. (wink!) It is perfect for hitting all those hard to get side lashes and creates beautiful, beautiful length. Maybe not so much volume involved in this product, but again for Ms. Faux's favorite no make up look this product is great. Is it the best, probably not, but it is pretty damn solid. Check out the before and after below.
What is it?
Create brows that are fuller, thicker, and more defined! The pigmented wax defines and shapes brows and the color complementing setting powder keeps them looking arched and perfected. The doubled sided taklon brush has one side to help arch your brows while the other side aids in filling them in. This duo provides lasting color definition for a naturally beautiful look.
What does Ms. Faux think?
I love this. While I don't use their tiny brush in favor of my longer brow brush the wax is perfect. While I have used the powder this week was all about the wax. I just wanted things tame and in their place and again... very low maintenance looking. Nothing looks worse than too bold of a brow. Am I right?

Also... Just a tip... Ms. Faux makes an unashamed comparison of this product to Benefit's Brow Zings $32 at benefitcosmetics.com.
And at a $29 savings how can you go wrong. Also... I own Brow Zings so I have no trouble making this comparrison.
What is it?
An all-in-one, cream-to-powder, multipurpose makeup stick. NARS The Multiple beautifully highlights, sculpts, and warms the eyes, cheeks, lips, and body in an array of shades, from sheer accents to mauve and bronze.
What Does Ms. Faux Think?
Again I'm going for that no make-up look this week, but with a rosy glow. This a rich gold infused rose. Ms. Faux uses this one to dab on her lips and cheeks. Blend out with a brush on your cheeks and you are on your way. And the color is... well... there is a reason for Nars' cheeky names. A perfect flush.

And that is it. Ms. Faux's Fab 5 Products of the week, but she could not end here. She has to give a shout out. While these are products used this week, there is a very honorable mention for a tool that Ms. Faux uses every day and it is extremely affordable. So this shout out, like most of this blog, is a lovely holla for elf cosmetics.
Elf is a cosmetics company that you can find online at eyeslipsface.com . They have long been a favorite dupe of many beauty bloggers, but this isn't a cosmetic I'm talking about, but rather a tool. What is it?
This new antibacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. Studio brush!
The layered bristles create a soft airbrushed look that's perfect for applying foundation or adding color definition to cheekbones or highlighting with soft layers. Use this brush with any liquid or powder face product such as foundation, blush or bronzer to build your coverage from sheer to heavy.

Why is Ms. Faux giving such an honorable mention?
She does use this brush everyday to blend in her blush. Whether it be the creme to powder multiples, liquid, powder, whatever... this brush blends things out beautifully. It also works well to blend concealers and foundation.
EVERYDAY YA'LL!!! I use this every day. Certainly it deserves some praise.
So there you go. Ms. Faux's Fab Five Friday!
